Prospective authors should submit an abstract to the Conference Secretariat by email (confdept@hkam.org.hk) or by mail postmarked no later than 1 November 2002. The abstract must be in the approved format. The selection of papers to be presented will be made on the basis of the abstracts. Please refer to Abstract Form for instructions of abstract submission. Notification of acceptance for paper or poster display will be distributed by 1 December 2002.

Papers will be accepted for presentation or the poster display. Papers must be submitted by 31 December 2002 for publication in the Conference proceedings.

Unless speakers are invited to give longer sessions, paper presentations must not exceed 15 minutes including 5 minutes for discussion.

Final papers should reach the Conference Secretariat no later than 31 December 2002. Participants are requested to observe strictly the following guidelines for the presentation of the paper. The full paper must not exceed 6 pages of A4 sized paper. The paper should be submitted in both hardcopy and computer diskette formats. Those with email submissions must also submit the paper in hardcopy. All illustrations should be camera ready. Authors who are invited to submit full papers will receive a model paper on which to base the structure and style of their own paper.
